Standard Definition footage Archive: Israel

Highlight Films' archive stocks both standard and high definition footage from Israel and Palestine.


The Highlight Films Archive stocks more than 900 hours of footage filmed between 1995 to present. During these long years we gathered some unique footage of important events of the time, various locations in Israel, Palestine, other parts of the Middle East and the world. We covered from the air many locations with religious and historical importance, in many cases from heights no longer accesable due to security restrictions. We filmed from south to north, from east to west. Our professional cameramen filmed the people and nature, the landscape and the sea, and we are proud to say that uinque and versatile stock footage like ours is hard to find.
These days we are re-filming many locations in high definition in various HD formats.
We are currently in negotiations for purchasing the royalties of some private rare footage. Our last purchase of that kind was of footage from the First Intifada that took place in the West Bank and Gaza Strip between 1987-1993, beautifuly shot originally on Beta.

By the end of August 2008, we will complete our Bank of Clips, a ready made clip collection of the highlights of our SD footage. That is  in addition to requested footage for a film or production.
Viewable screeners of almost every topic we stock in our archive will be available on our website from the begining of this coming September. Until then, you are invited to sample these selected clips.
