PRODUCTION SERVICES IN ISRAEL: VIDEO AND FILM
Highlight Films is a production services company based in Israel, providing camera crews, fixers, permits, equipment, and post-production support to international film, TV, and video productions since 1998. We work across Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and this page covers the full range of services we offer — from a single-day camera crew in Tel Aviv to multi-week documentary shoots across the region.
FILM, VIDEO AND TV PRODUCTION SERVICES
OUR EXPERIENCE
Since 1998, Highlight Films has supplied camera crews and full production services to hundreds of international productions filming in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and across Israel, working with broadcasters and producers from the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. We support news, documentary films, corporate videos, and TV production in Israel, handling every stage from research and location clearance to filming, editing, and up-link services.
Some clients need a camera crew in Tel Aviv for a single day; others need weeks of pre-production and filming. Either way, our fixers manage projects throughout Israel, the Palestinian West Bank, and Gaza.
THE HIGHLIGHT FILMS TEAM
Highlight Films owns its own camera sets, grip gear, lighting, and post-production facilities, which keeps production costs down without compromising quality — and our producers handle any TV, film, or video production service in Israel.
Many productions crossing between Israeli- and Palestinian-administered areas, including Jerusalem, need a crew who knows the permits, checkpoints, and timing involved. We manage this daily, so crews and equipment cross quickly and safely.
Below are the services we provide, with links to the relevant pages:
FILM PRODUCTION SERVICES IN ISRAEL
Highlight Films covers film, video, and still-photo productions in Israel. 35mm and 16mm film cameras are available locally, though Israel has no commercial film-processing labs, so processing needs to be planned in advance. For film-specific production details, see our Film in Israel website.
CAMERA CREW AND VIDEOGRAPHER IN ISRAEL
Our camera crews and video editors work in every HD and 4K format used internationally — RAW, HDCAM, and XDCAM — on Sony, Canon, and Panasonic cameras, plus ARRI, RED, and BlackMagic cameras up to 8K. Every videographer, director of photography, cameraman, and sound recordist on our video camera crews has experience on international productions. See our Film in Israel website for more detail.
PRODUCTION SERVICES COMPANY IN ISRAEL : OUR EXPERIENCE
Our production studio is on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, minutes from two major highways and about 15 minutes from central Tel Aviv. We also have a studio in central Ramallah. Beyond our own space, we have access to filming studios across Israel, from single-presenter booths to fully equipped multi-camera studios, and we regularly support Jerusalem productions.
VIDEO EDITING ROOMS
We have professional video editors on staff and on call in both Israel and Palestine. Our edit suites run Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere, and our technical departments in Tel Aviv and Ramallah can digitize, edit, and play out any format. We also offer mobile editing units on laptops with fast upload connections wherever you need them.
MEDIA AND BROADCAST IN ISRAEL
Our in-house studio handles most digital and analog video and audio formats, with the latest Adobe Creative Cloud tools including After Effects, Avid Media Composer suites, and 360-video editing. Our Tel Aviv offices run on a fast fiber-optic connection for upload and file sharing, and we provide satellite uplink services, including live feeds and play-out, anywhere in Israel and the Palestinian areas.
AERIAL FILMING
Our archive holds many hours of 4K and HD aerial footage of Israel, filmed from helicopters and light aircraft. We’re also experienced flying drones with stabilized HD/4K cameras — see examples in our aerial footage of Jerusalem.
For an aerial filming shoot, we can provide an aerial videographer or arrange a helicopter fitted for professional stabilized cameras. Depending on the production, your own cameraman may be able to fly, or an Israeli cameraman may need to film for you. We arrange flight permits, equipment, and the shoot plan before takeoff.
UNDERWATER FILMING
We provide underwater production services along Israel’s Mediterranean coast (Caesarea, Jaffa, Rosh Hanikra) and in the Bay of Eilat, using professional underwater cameramen with waterproof 4K and HD camera housings.
TV PRODUCTION IN ISRAEL
Highlight Films has more than 28 years of experience producing in Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and across the Middle East, including studio programs, documentary films, reality formats, documentary features, and sports features. Our producers assemble local crews in Israel, the Palestinian West Bank, or Gaza, and handle personnel, equipment, and logistics to a consistent professional standard.
ISRAEL PRODUCTION SERVICES - STOCK FOOTAGE
Highlight Films is the only production company in Israel offering a professional stock footage archive: more than 1,500 4K/HD clips available for online licensing, filmed by our own cameramen on location across the country. The archive covers our own productions as well as significant events and locations in the recent history of Israel and Palestine, plus footage of Israel’s nature and landscape, filmed in the Judea Desert, the Galilee, and elsewhere.
If you only need a few shots of Israel, browse the archive above or contact us and we’ll help you find the right clips for your production.
