DOCUMENTARY FILM PRODUCTION IN ISRAEL: OUR FIXERS
We appoint a coordinator (fixer) to each production of documentary films in Israel. While the fixer is with the crew in the filming locations, he or she is constantly in touch with the Tel Aviv office. Our office coordinators provide them with news alerts, logistical assistance and online research work when needed. Highlight Films is proud to operate in Palestine as well. Our professional Palestinian production team is based in Bethlehem, and can provide any production services there. We also use our interview bookers to find the best interviewees for the project.

Our stock footage archive is among the best in Israel. Most of it was filmed by our experienced documentary cameramen on location. We usually don’t film news for archive, but rather try to capture excellent documentary footage in news events or on opportunities that will be used for the production of documentary films in Israel. PRODUCTION OF ART FILMS IN ISRAEL
The Highlight Films production teams have completed a considerable list of art films and art projects in Israel: both video and stills productions that were produced within a reasonable budget frame, using both creativity and experience in the planning and execution. The majority of the art films we produce are for established TV channels, museums and world-renowned artists.
MUSEUM ART INSTALLATIONS
We have completed several turnkey projects for museums in Israel.
In 2023-2024 Highlight Films was commissioned by The Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem to prepare a video installation about the women who survived the oct. 7 massacre.
The result is From Darkness to Light – an exhibition of 35 testimonies, filmed by our crews and directed by Noam Shalev.
